Two Trains Collide in India: A passenger train hit a parked dry freight train head-on in Lucknow, India, killing at least 40 people.

Gorakhpor Express train was traveling at high speed and hit a dry cargo train parked near Uttar Pradesh stop. As a result of the collision, the 6 wagon of the express train derailed. The most damage was in the wagon carrying the ticketless passengers coming off the rails.

After the accident, the villagers in the region came to the scene first. One of the villagers who came to the scene said, “I was working in the field. Suddenly I heard the sound of collision. It was a disastrous sound ”.

Stating that the poor were the poor field workers of the citizens who lost their lives in the accident, the police said that the rescue efforts were due to time being in a rural area.

It was stated that train accidents were very common in India, while another train derailed 4 days ago, causing the death of 19 people.
