All personnel to be employed in the positions of the General Directorate of State Railways of the Republic of Turkey cannot request a change of location without serving for at least five (5) years at the workplace they are assigned.

Within the scope of the Railway Safety Critical Tasks Regulation and the Health and Psychotechnical Directive of the General Directorate of TCDD, the candidates who will prefer the positions of Movement Officer, Train Organization Officer, Surveillance, Engineer, Technician, Technician and Officer (Line Maintenance and Repair Officer); They must not be color blind, have a screening test (the result of a drug and stimulant test result must be negative.) and have the health conditions and psychotechnical competencies specified for these titles.

Officer (Line Maintenance and Repair Officer), Surveillance

He works in the inspection, control, maintenance and repair processes of the equipment in the railway infrastructure and superstructure. These tasks must be performed at all hours of the day in all terrain and climatic conditions. It carries out daily, weekly and monthly routine pedestrian line controls on the 50 km line section under its responsibility. In addition, the personnel in question, who are subject to periodic health examinations, perform railway safety critical duties in cases where personal needs cannot always be met, along the route of the railway and in places where people can walk on steep lands. In terms of working environment and conditions; Back, leg and foot ailments and problems such as open space and height phobia are seen as features that make it difficult to fulfill the task.

Movement Officer, Train Organizing Officer

It works in train traffic by increasing the railway traffic capacity. Working on a stand-alone basis on a 7/24 basis at stations that are far from central settlements and have workplaces that can be called deprivation zones. These tasks must be performed at all hours of the day in all terrain and climatic conditions. In addition, the personnel in question, who are subject to periodic health and psychotechnical examinations, perform railway safety critical tasks in cases where personal needs cannot always be met along the route where the railway is located. In terms of working environment and conditions; problems such as waist, leg and foot ailments are seen as features that make it difficult to fulfill the task.

Pointer (Port Pointer)

Port clerks supervise the preparations of the port mail and the cargo handling operations, keep the records of these handling operations and control the operations. It operates in the terminal sections of the port, which are partly or completely closed to other pedestrians, reserved for cargo handling and technical works. It works in cold, hot, rainy, windy, humid weather conditions, in shifts and flexible working hours by standing for a long time.
