Eren Blockade-1377 Martyr Gendarmerie Specialist Sergeant Ercan Özcan Operation Started in Şırnak and Siirt with the Participation of 27 Personnel

In order to remove the PKK terrorist organization from the country's agenda and neutralize the terrorists who are considered to be sheltering in the region, "Eren Blockade-27 (Bestler Dereler-Herekol) Martyr J.Uzm.Çvş. Ercan ÖZCAN” operation was launched.

In the operation carried out under the coordination of the Şırnak Gendarmerie Regional Command; 1377 personnel, consisting of Çakırsöğüt Gendarmerie Commando Brigade Command, Gendarmerie Commando affiliated to Şırnak and Siirt Provincial Gendarmerie Commands, Gendarmerie Special Operations (JÖH) and Security Guard Team, Police Special Operations (PÖH) Teams affiliated to Şırnak and Siirt Provincial Police Departments, 106 operational teams .

26 Caves/Shelters/Shelters Detected and Destroyed on the First Day of Operation

On the first day of the operation, 8 caves, 18 shelters and shelters were found during the search and screening activities in the Bestler Dereler region of Sirnak province and Herekol region of Siirt province;

• 1 anti-personnel rocket launcher ammunition, 51,5 meters electrical cable,
• 1 large tube with IED device,
• 1 EYP with pressing mechanism,

• 4 large tubes and many health and life supplies were seized and destroyed.
