Şahin 40mm Physical Destruction System
ŞAHİN is a physical destruction system with a turret on a trailer using ATOM 40 mm High Speed Intelligent Grenade Launcher Ammunition. Using advanced electro-optical cameras on a precision stabilized router capable of independent movement in two axes, ŞAHİN can perform automatic target detection and tracking; It can be engaged by connecting to radar or command and control systems. ŞAHİN, which can be controlled remotely, has an effective range of 700 meters against mini and micro UAVs.
Border security, protection of critical facilities and air defense against UAV threats are the main areas of use of ŞAHİN. The target information gathered by the command and control elements quickly turns into an engagement for the most appropriate weapon, and after this point, the process for tracking and destroying the target begins.
