Buca Municipality, which gives full support to sports activities especially for children and young people to stay away from harmful habits, has been flooded by Buca people of all ages for swimming courses opened in the summer months. The two facilities, which currently have 500 registered trainees and are operating at full capacity, will be the place where many people take their first successful stroke until the end of summer.
The Semi-Olympic Swimming Pool of the Municipality of Buca and the pool within the Tennis Club became the focus of attention of Buca people of all ages, especially children. Finally, the courses, which reach an average of 500 registered basic swimming training trainees every month, show the utmost importance to hygiene rules. In the courses, all Buca residents are encouraged to swim, one of the most entertaining sports branches, accompanied by expert instructors. Swimming, which is also a summer holiday gift for children, not only makes a healthy activity possible, but also plays a big role in the development of self-confidence. Buca Municipality, which carries the service quality of the facilities that are pointed out in its field, higher every day, will continue to organize events in which young people and children will gladly participate.
BRIDGE FROM THE FIRST FAME TO MEDALS
On the other hand, the talents of the children and young people who stand out in the courses are discovered and an opportunity is created to bring in new names who will bring national and international success to swimming. When necessary, equipment support is also provided to successful athletes selected from among the trainees who receive basic training for three hours a week.
Emphasizing that equality of opportunity in the fields of education and sports is one of the sine qua non, Buca Mayor Erhan Kılıç stated that such projects will be diversified and increased.
