The Mobile Health Guidance Tool Project for disadvantaged citizens and immigrants is being implemented in cooperation with the Metropolitan and IOM.
Adana Metropolitan Municipality Health and Social Services Department, Immigration and Migrant Affairs Branch Directorate and the Immigrant Coordination and Integration Center, which is carried out in cooperation with the Immigrant Coordination and Integration Center, were prepared in order to expand the services, increase accessibility, and reach more people in need than immigrants and local people. HEALTH SERVICE, HOME CARE INFORMATION, HAIRDRESSER, AWARENESS SESSIONS…
With this project and vehicle, visits are organized with the staff of SGDD/ASAM, IOM and Immigration Affairs Directorate to the disadvantaged citizens and immigrant elements living in disadvantaged areas and those in need living in tent areas.
As a result of the joint work with Adana Metropolitan Municipality, IOM and SGDD/ASAM within the scope of Home Care and Doctor Team Services of the Family and Health Services Branch Directorate, health screening and services were provided for agricultural workers and their families living in harsh conditions in tents in agricultural fields in Seyhan District Mürseloğlu District.
Within the scope of these visits, home care information services, municipal health services, haircuts with a traveling hairdresser's vehicle, awareness sessions were held for citizens who have difficulties in accessing basic health services.
Hygiene kits were distributed to the households identified as in need within the scope of the visits.
Municipal health services will be continued in disadvantaged areas in monthly periods.
