Countdown Has Started for Ankara Metropolitan's Mass Circumcision Feast

Preparations continue before the "Communal Circumcision Feast" traditionally organized by the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality.

The people of Başkent show great interest in the circumcision procedure, which is performed by specialist physicians in a hygienic and comfortable environment at the Acropolis Hospital. Families whose transportation to the hospital is provided by shuttle vehicles benefit from circumcision service for their children free of charge. This year, a circumcision feast is planned for a thousand children in the 6-12 age group at the end of August.

THOUSAND CHILDREN CIRCUMSTANCES FREE BY ABB

ABB, which will organize a circumcision feast for a thousand children in the 6-12 age group this year in line with the understanding of social municipality, will start receiving circumcision applications as of July 1, 2022, and also provides free transportation for the circumcision procedures performed in the hospital.

Fatih Karaşahin, Social Services Department Social and Administrative Affairs Branch Manager, gave the following information about the circumcision feast:

“As Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, we offer our circumcision organization, which we organized this year, to the service of our citizens with a unique comfort. We separate our children in the hospital environment and take them through a door that only serves them, and we host them in their rooms accompanied by their parents. When the circumcision operation is completed, we provide our citizens to reach their regions with our services, as we take them from their addresses with our services. With the circumcision feast we plan to organize around the end of August, we will present the gifts of our children and try to make sense of these special days of our families.”

FAMILIES ARE SATISFIED WITH THIS SERVICE

Families who came to have their children circumcised expressed their excitement before the circumcision feast to be hosted by ABB with the following words:

-Dursun Karaoğlu: “We were already waiting for the circumcision organization. The free circumcision program of the Metropolitan has greatly relieved our budget. I had my son circumcised in safe hands, I am happy.”

-Şükrü Akbayır: “If I had circumcised myself outside, it would have been a great burden for me. They even provided our transportation. We had our child circumcised in a hygienic environment. I thank the Metropolitan for this opportunity.”

-Ebru Devrez: “I'm not left behind in terms of interest. We were very pleased with the hygienic and comfortable environment. Everyone did their best. It was also advantageous for us that it was free.”

-Beşnur Sütçüoğlu: “I brought my brother to be circumcised. We registered and went to the circumcision room. We had a very comfortable process. We were also comfortable in delivering my brother to specialist doctors.”

-Yusuf Uygurlu: “They brought us to the hospital by bus. The circumcision process went very well. Our child was circumcised in quality conditions and the child passed this stage without fear.”

-Berat Uygurlu: “I was afraid before. When I saw this place and these conditions, I overcame my fear and my excitement was gone.”

-Metehan Tartan: “The doctors treated me well. I was excited before the circumcision. I was circumcised and now I'm fine. The doctors treated me very well.”

-Yasin Kaan Göçmen: “It didn't hurt at all. I'm a man now. I liked the doctors. Not as much as I feared.”

-Yiğit Burak Sütçüoğlu: “When I first came to the hospital, I was very scared. I went to the circumcision site, I was very excited, everyone was crying, and I was nervous. When the doctors behaved well, my fear subsided a little. I'm happy it's over now."
