Kavacık traffic is recovering: The new road construction and arrangement works initiated by the General Directorate of Highways provide a solution to the traffic problem in Kavacık Square.
Kavacık traffic is being resolved within the scope of transportation investments in the district. General Directorate of Highways, which has taken action upon the request of Beykoz Municipality, is continuing its road and landscaping works. Kavacık Square in recent years, especially in the morning and evening hours, which will give the drivers a hard time traffic congestion, new road construction and arrangement will end with the work. The works that decelerated due to the expropriation process gained momentum with the solution of the problem here.
NEW WAYS ARE OPENING
General Directorate of Highways continues the construction of viaduct connections and overpasses for permanent solution of traffic problem. In the scope of the traffic arrangement for Kavacık Junction, new alternative roads will be produced and there will be roads that change in one direction and change the route.
When the works are completed, Kavacık Junction will be closed to full turn and alternative passages will be given by the side roads. In this way, while the relaxation of traffic is provided, the district will gain more spacious and useful ways.
Beykoz Mayor Yucel Celikbilek said that with the projects they initiated, 5 will change the face of Beykoz over the years and the interest in the district will increase and they are working to meet the current needs and future transportation needs.
