Samsun Metropolitan Municipality is putting into service the District Transfer Center, which will provide transportation from the districts to the city center with a single vehicle. Declaring that they will put an end to the long wait of the citizens and minibus shopkeepers on December 29, President Mustafa Demir invited all citizens to the opening ceremony to be held at 14.00.
Working day and night to solve the city's chronic problems, Samsun Metropolitan Municipality is putting into service project investments related to infrastructure and superstructure one by one. With the "Smart City Traffic Safety" project, the Metropolitan Municipality, which significantly relieves the urban traffic, this time eliminates the great grievances experienced by the citizens who cannot come from the districts to the city center by public transportation vehicles.
Scalpel for DAILY TRAVEL PROBLEM
Scalping the daily travel problem of citizens with a single vehicle, Samsun Metropolitan Municipality created 13 platforms with steel construction for district minibuses and 3 platforms for airport shuttle vehicles. The center, which will have a taxi stand for 12 vehicles and an open car park for 72 vehicles, has been completed with the surrounding field concrete, asphalting and line productions, and the information, waiting and ticket sales office has been prepared.

Having completed the District Transfer Center Project, the Metropolitan Municipality has started the countdown for the service that excites the passengers and minibus tradesmen traveling from the districts to the city center and from the city center to the districts. Evaluating the project that will be put into service on 29 December, Samsun Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Mustafa Demir said, “We are happy to solve another problem in Samsun, the city of the future. We are burying all the grievances experienced in the daily public transportation problem between the districts and the city center”, saying, “Thanks to this center, where we will open a new page, we provide transportation with a single vehicle. Therefore, both our citizens and minibus shopkeepers will find comfort. With the transfer center, the traffic load, transportation cost and loss of time will also decrease. I invite all our people to our Transfer Center opening ceremony, which we will hold on Thursday at 14.00.
