Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality (IMM) became a guide for 22 thousand young people who took the university exam in 22 squares. Within the scope of the 'Preference Counseling and Guidance Centre', service was provided to young people who wanted to make a choice both in the squares and on the Mobile vehicles and the Alo 153 Line. İBB will continue to provide consultancy to young people during the additional preference period.

IMM did not leave young people alone during the university preference period between August 4 and August 20. IMM's preference consultants, who started their work before the announcement of the exam results, guided the young people in their preferences with the training they received. IMM Preference Counseling and Guidance Centers, serving by the IMM Youth and Sports Directorate, contributed to the young people who took the Higher Education Institutions Examination (YKS) to make their choices in the most correct way.

With 22 preference consultants in 190 squares of Istanbul, young people were provided with free consultancy services in order to make their choices correctly according to criteria such as their scores, success rankings and the quota of universities. Both mobile devices supported the youth in the selection process.

22 THOUSAND 158 YOUNG GUIDANCES

In the 'Preference Counseling and Guidance Centers', the consultants of IMM contributed to the young people's choice lists, while the expert guides gave information to the young people about state and foundation universities, scholarship status, departments and courses. The Preference Counseling and Guidance Centers, which are at the service of young people for 17 days, helped 22 thousand 158 university candidates to make the right choice.

ALO 153 CALLED FROM ALL AROUND TURKEY

Preference consultants also served on the Alo 153 Line for university preferences. Contributing to young people in Istanbul in creating their preference lists, Alo 153, also provided guidance services to young people calling from all over Turkey with its 0212 153 00 00 line.

SERVICE WILL BE PROVIDED IN ADDITIONAL PREFERENCE PERIOD

It is planned that the Preference Counseling and Guidance Centers will serve during the additional preference period and the second additional placement process where the threshold score is reduced. It will also be announced at how many points and where services will be provided during the additional preference period.
