Under the leadership of Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality, with the support of the Turkish Cancer Research and Control Association and the philanthropist Saffet Arslan, the foundation of the Post-Treatment Care Center for Cancer Patients, which will set an example for Turkey, was laid. President Büyükkılıç, who spoke in the program that started after the National Anthem and a moment of silence, stated that they are working together to make Kayseri a center of health and said, “We especially thank our President. Emphasizing the importance of early diagnosis in cancer treatments, Büyükkılıç said, “We do not hope that no one gets cancer, that it is diagnosed early, that treatment is provided, that it is not neglected, but besides these, every living thing will taste death. We are aware that it is inevitable for us to provide such a service by allowing them to live.


President Büyükkılıç said that Kayseri is a city that is a candidate to become the center of trade and industry as well as health tourism and that carries out the necessary studies in this regard, “On one side we say a ski resort, on the other we say a tourism center that is integrated with Cappadocia, but besides that, of course, we say that. Kayseri fills a gap with the services provided in the field of health, serves the region, and we are aware of this. Our Erciyes University is already our pride. President Büyükkılıç also talked about the ongoing projects in Kayseri and said that it is a city that does not cause the troubles of metropolitan cities, with a sense of belonging, in solidarity.

In the Cancer Patients Post-Treatment Care Center project, which will be the first and only in Turkey and will be built on a total construction area of ​​3 thousand 324 square meters, besides 24 separate patient rooms where the patient and a companion will be, Hobby Room, Polyclinic Room, Rest Room, Nurse Room, Social Areas. will also be included.
