Mersin Metropolitan Municipality has completed all preparations to create a healthy environment for students who will take the exam before the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS) to be held on the weekend. Students will be able to pass a successful exam thanks to the studies accelerated by the Transportation, Police, Environmental Protection and Control, Disabled and Health Services Departments hours before the exam.
City buses are free to students, parents and examiners who will take the exam.
Public transportation vehicles serving within the Department of Transportation will be free of charge to all students, their parents and examiners who show the exam entry document on June 27-28. In addition, 175 buses will serve in the city center in order to avoid any density. Vipol - Üniversite Caddesi - Mersin University Çiftlikköy Campus route will also be provided by 3 free ring buses.
Police teams will train students to the exam
The teams affiliated to the Police Department will offer ring service on the main streets in the city center. The teams will take the students who are late for the exam to schools where they will take the exam with the police. Students will be able to get this service by contacting the police teams they see when they think they will not be able to take the exam.
Transfer of students with disabilities will be provided
Handicapped and Health Services Department will transfer disabled students who will take the exam on the weekend. In line with the requests, the teams will take the disabled students to the exam places with the Disabled Individual Transfer and Service.
Noise factors are minimized for the exam
Environmental Protection and Control Department teams completed their routine cleaning activities throughout the city in order to prevent the noise environment that will affect students' motivations. Cleaning and spraying teams will wait ready for any possibility.
