UK Produces Energy from Empty Coffee Cups: An agreement has been signed between British company Network Rail and Bio-Bean on coffee cups.
According to the agreement, it was decided to collect coffee cups at some stations in the UK and convert them to biofuel fuel that we use to heat our homes. The stations covered by the agreement were designated as Euston, King's Cross, Liverpool Street, Paddington, Victoria and Naterloo in London.
The recycling factory of Bio bean company can recycle 50000 tons of coffee cups annually. In the statement made by Network Rail, it was pointed out that a recycled glass can be converted to 5700 kWh electrical energy, and after a 700-ton conversion, an energy can be produced that 1000 houses can be heated.
Network Rail management director David Biggs said in a statement that the many wasted glass of this partnership is recycled for useful purposes and parallel with the number of passengers more and more recycling will produce more energy, he said.
