Some issues are universal, one of the most important of which can be called health. Although the language of the patients is different, the diagnosis and treatments are common. The pharmacist, who conducts research on the traditional plant of Kahramanmaraş, plans to guide diabetes and Alzheimer's patients in 2023 with Therapidya, a multilingual global health encyclopedia he founded.
The Therapidya project, which was carried out to solve the limited results faced by people who do not speak English when they search for health-related information online, aims to provide more easily accessible information and tools in all languages in 2023. Pharmacist Hatice Kulalı, who aims to guide diabetes and Alzheimer's patients and conducts research on the traditional herb of Kahramanmaraş, çiriş, has prepared a multilingual health encyclopedia. Abdullah Habib, Co-Founder of Therapidya, said, “We are talking about an encyclopedia with more than 17 million words written in more than 4,5 languages all over the world. We can say that it is a work that has come out as a result of really great efforts.”
In 2023, we aim to create online tools and publish them in 17 languages by collaborating with the World Health Organization, Johns Hopkins Comprehensive Diabetes Center, Alzheimer's Disease Research Center at Mayo Clinic, TR Ministry of Health, Turkish Diabetes Foundation and Turkish Alzheimer's Association. When people who don't speak English search online about health, they encounter limited information. We, as Therapidya, are working to break down this wall in front of patients.”
“We will work to help Turks abroad”
Abdullah Habib, who is also the founder of Turkpidya, the first digital multilingual encyclopedia about Turkey, explained their 2023 goals by saying that they want to provide more accessible tools in all languages for everyone:
“We want to develop joint projects where we can go much further by reaching the largest organizations operating in the fields of anti-diabetes and anti-alzheimers. We will put forward comprehensive studies that will help Turks abroad in many different areas such as pharmacies on duty, nearby hospitals and health insurance. We will prepare articles in Turkish that inform the public on all conceivable issues related to health in our country and in the world. We will make marketing and partnership agreements with different health brands in areas such as health tourism, personal care, food supplements and medical supplies.
