The Chinese Manned Space Agency (CMSA) reported that the three taikonauts undertaking the Shenzhou-15 mission exchanged duties with astronauts on Shenzhou-2 on December 14, performing the first crew rotation in China in orbit.

The taikonauts aboard the Shenzhou-15 spacecraft entered China's space station on Wednesday, meeting with the crew of Shenzhou-14, who have been on the space station since June. As a result of the historical meeting, the number of taikonauts in the space laboratory increased to six for the first time.

The CMSA has announced that the Shenzhou-14 crew will return to earth tomorrow after completing all prescribed missions. The return capsule carrying the taikonauts will land at the Dongfeng landing site in northern China. It has been reported that the teams to welcome the capsule have completed all their preparations.
