THE NUMBER OF VISITS HAS EXCEEDED 3 MILLION SINCE IT OPENED
Expressing that Konya Science Center has opened its doors to more than 3 million visitors since the day it was put into service, Mayor Altay said, “We are happy to host 2022 thousand visitors from Konya and outside Konya in 526 alone. Our aim is to bring people of all ages together with science; especially to make our children and young people love science. In this context, we organize dozens of scientific events throughout the year. I invite everyone who is interested in science from all over Turkey, especially our children and youth, to see Konya Science Center next year.” he said.
HOSTS MANY EVENTS
Konya Science Center hosted 2022 thousand 9 visitors with the 281th Konya Science Festival held in 613. And also; It also hosted many festivals and events such as the Astronomy Festival, Çatalhöyük Archeology Festival, Mathematics Festival, Cern International Masterclass, Sustainable Urban Furniture Hackathon, Smart City Hackathon, Winter Camp, Midterm Holiday Camps, STEM Camp, Technology Camp, Astronomy Camp, Newton Day. .
In Konya Science Center, 2022 thousand students participated in the workshop and laboratory activities with the free buses provided by Konya Metropolitan Municipality in 12. 62 thousand students visited Konya Science Center as part of the excursion program. Konya Science Center, which organizes a tour program with guides, planetarium screenings, workshops and laboratory activities in accordance with the curriculum during the education-teaching period, also continues its special activities with different themes on weekends.
