10th Boğaziçi University Informatics Awards Found Their Owners

The 10th Bosphorus Informatics Awards, sponsored by Turkey's leading financial technology company PeP, ended. Famous social media content producers Mehtap Algül and Berk Keklik hosted the award ceremony, in which the winners were determined as a result of 15 days of public voting and jury evaluation.

The “best” of digital was chosen

At the award night, the best of 16 categories, including companies from industries such as artificial intelligence, e-commerce, transportation, cybersecurity, technology, crypto, as well as online broadcasting platforms, were selected. Technology startups, game and application developers, content producers were selected by voting on the website of the event, and the awards were given to their owners.

While many big brands such as Trendyol, Yemeksepeti, Amazon, Hepsiburada, Trendyol, sahibinden and Getir were nominated in their respective categories, Gain, Exxen, BluTv, PuhuTv and Mubi competed in the best domestic digital platform category.

Successful names such as Oğuzhan Uğur, İbrahim Selim, Hasancan Kaya, Sibel Çetinkaya, Damla Altun and Şeyda Erdoğan, who are among the most watched and followed online platforms, were also voted according to their fields of work.

Companies and social media content producers that were awarded as a result of 15 days of public voting and jury evaluation came together at the award night.

The influence of young informatics is increasing day by day.

At the opening of the award ceremony, a plaque of appreciation for the main sponsor was presented to the General Manager of PeP, Mehmet Sadioğlu.

In his speech, Sadioğlu stated that PeP, Turkey's leading financial technology company in its field, continues to support young people working in the field of informatics and the projects produced in this sector, and underlined that young informatics increase their sphere of influence with each success they achieve.

Emphasizing that companies operating in the IT sector and people operating in digital platforms play a critical role in the decisions of internet users, Sadioğlu said, as Turkey's leading fintech company PeP, Boğaziçi University Informatics Awards assumed the main sponsorship of the event, and that people of all ages and professions can participate by voting. He said they were happy to be a part of the event.
