The international railway finance company Eurofima will provide 240 million Euro long-term financing to the Italian rail company FS Italiane. The company, which TCDD Tasimacilik AS is a shareholder, provides financial resources for railroad projects.
The repayment of the loan provided by Eurofima will be 14 years. FS Italiane will use this amount for the following projects:
- Vivalto Tools - Hitachi,
- Jazz EMU - Alstom
- E464 locomotive - Bombardier
Ferrovie dello Stato Italiane is one of the biggest shareholders of Eurofima.

EUROFIMA was established on November 20, 1956, based on an international agreement (the "Convention") between 14 sovereign states.
Today it consists of 25 member states and 26 shareholders.
It was originally established for a period of 50 years. On February 1, 1984, the Extraordinary General Assembly decided to extend this period for another 2056 years until 50.
