In Germany, the highways are paid: In Germany, the government announces the details of the draft law, which calls for tolls on roads.
The details of the draft prepared by Minister of Transport Alexander Dobrindt were reflected in the media. Accordingly, the tolls will be valid for all highways in Germany. German drivers will pay annually 150 euro. On the other hand, motor vehicle tax will be reduced.
Foreign drivers will pay 10 for 10 daily vignette and 2 for 20 monthly stamp.
Siim Kallas, the member of the European Commission responsible for transport, announced that the proposal for a reduction in motor vehicles tax on the toll for the German motorists would not be accepted.
Kallas said that the same conditions should be valid for German drivers and foreigners.
