A piano recital is presented on the nostalgia tram to draw attention to the 14th International Antalya Piano Festival, organized by the Antalya Metropolitan Municipality this year.
The 14th International Antalya Piano Festival, under the art direction of the famous pianist Fazıl Say, will be held on 8-30 November. The piano placed on the nostalgia tram serving between the Lights and the Museum line before the festival, with the slogan of last year 'There is Music in the City', was highly appreciated. The piano mounted in the middle of the tram can also be played by the passengers.
Passengers made a pleasant journey with melodies from the piano of 10-year-old Elif Işıl Karakaş, a student of Mecdude Başakıncı Secondary School. With the piano recital on the tram, it is aimed to draw attention to the festival in the city. Passengers traveling to art with the melodies of the little pianist did not forget to photograph these moments. Saying that she has been playing the piano for 5.5 years, Elif Işıl Karakaş said, “It is very enjoyable to play the piano in the tram. It was a different and beautiful feeling. The passengers listen carefully. I didn't even realize I was on the tram while I was playing. I love the piano. "I will be a famous pianist when I grow up."
Traveling by listening to the piano, Hüzun Özkara Yanık said, “The journey is very nice and enjoyable. It has become traditional. We are very happy. We were very surprised. It was original, ”he said.
Gülçin Ataer, one of the passengers, stated that they were lucky to have a piano festival in Antalya and said, “It was a chance for us to listen to the piano on the tram. We were touched by the melodies. "We want the events with music to increase," he said.
