Chicken egg production increased by 7,3 percent in February

Chicken egg production increased by 7,3 percent in February compared to the same month of the previous year, reaching 1,73 billion units.

According to the data of the Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK), in February, compared to the same month of the previous year, chicken egg production increased by 7,3 percent, the number of slaughtered chickens increased by 13,1 percent, chicken meat production increased by 14,6 percent, turkey meat production increased by 31,2 percent, increased by XNUMX.

In the January-February period, compared to the same period of the previous year, chicken egg production increased by 6,8 percent, the number of slaughtered chickens increased by 9,4 percent, chicken meat production increased by 10,1 percent, and turkey meat production increased by 32,2 percent.

Chicken meat production, which was 203 thousand 64 tons in the previous month, decreased by 0,7 percent in February and reached 201 thousand 680 tons.

Chicken egg production, which was 1 billion 838 million 422 thousand units in the previous month, decreased by 5,7 percent in February and became 1 billion 733 million 464 thousand units.
