Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Council met for the first time under the chairmanship of Mayor Mustafa Bozbey. While 106 out of 105 council members attended the meeting, in the first meeting, with the proposal of Mayor Bozbey, the decision to give a 25 percent discount on water and use Turkish language on the signs was unanimously passed by the council. Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality April Ordinary Assembly Meeting, the first assembly of the new term, was convened under the chairmanship of Mayor Yusuf Alemdar. In the first parliament, council clerks, deputy chairmen, commission and council members were elected by vote.
