China Exploded in Ship Exports!

In the first quarter of 2024, China's ship exports increased by 113,1 percent compared to the same period last year. During the same period, the value of ships exported from Shanghai increased by 130 percent to 13 billion 900 million yuan (approximately 1 billion 960 million dollars).

Li Jirong, an official of Shanghai Customs Directorate, said that the exports of high value-added container ships increased by 2,1 times to 6 billion 200 million yuan, while the exports of LPG (liquefied petroleum gas) tankers increased by 75 percent to 2 billion yuan.
