Stormy Daniels, real name Stephanie Clifford, was born in Louisiana in 1979. Daniels, who first started acting in the porn industry, has also stepped into jobs such as writing scripts and directing films since 2004.
The name Stormy Daniels was inspired by Storm, the daughter of Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx, and the whiskey brand Jack Daniels. Daniels also guest-starred in the films The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Knocked Up, and in the music video for Maroon Five's song "Wake Up Call."
Daniels, who intended to run for the U.S. Senate seat in Louisiana in 2010, later decided to withdraw on the grounds that his candidacy was not taken seriously.
