Earthquakes with a magnitude of 7,7 and 7,6, the epicenter of which were in the Pazarcık and Elbistan districts of Kahramanmaraş, affected 10 provinces. Due to the severity of the earthquake, the damaged train tracks passing through the Şekeroba District of Kahramanmaraş were repaired.
The train rails passing through the Şekeroba neighborhood of Türkoğlu district of Kahramanmaraş, one of the cities where the intensity of the earthquake was felt most intensely, were displaced by the effect of the earthquake and shifted to the side.
The Republic of Turkey State Railways (TCDD) has started repair work on the train tracks that are located on the active fault line and become unusable. It was stated that the railroads, most of which were repaired, will start as soon as possible.
