Tent cities were established in Hatay's Antakya and İskenderun districts to temporarily shelter those whose houses were damaged by the Kahramanmaraş-centered earthquake, which is described as the "disaster of the century".

After the 10 and 7,7 magnitude earthquake, the epicenter of which is in the Pazarcık and Elbistan districts of Kahramanmaraş and affecting 7,6 provinces in the Mediterranean, Eastern and Southeastern Anatolia regions, the mobilization continues to meet the needs of the people of the region.

Some of those whose houses were damaged in Antakya were placed in tents around the New Hatay Stadium and Hatay Central Sports Hall under the coordination of AFAD.

In Iskenderun, for the earthquake victims, Prof. A tent city was created on Muammer Aksoy Street.
