Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer announced that as of February 21, 99 thousand 853 students from the provinces in the earthquake zone were transferred to 71 cities.
Minister of National Education Mahmut Özer shared on his social media account, “We carried out the transfer of 10 thousand 99 students within the scope of the transfer of our students from 853 provinces to other provinces. Our children are our future. We will continue to be with them in every opportunity and condition.” said.
Minister Özer's message also included the number of students transferred by province. Accordingly, 13 thousand 110 to Ankara, 10 thousand 272 to Mersin, 9 thousand 380 to Antalya, 6 thousand 47 to Konya, 5 thousand 898 to Istanbul, 3 thousand 831 to İzmir, 3 thousand to Muğla. 629 students transferred to Aydın, 3 thousand 66 students, 2 thousand 940 students to Kayseri and 2 thousand 598 students to Bursa.
