Çal Cave, which is among the most important tourism destinations of the Eastern Black Sea Region and Trabzon and described as the “hidden paradise under the ground”, is getting ready to open its doors to its visitors.

Located in Çal town of Düzköy district, the cave awaits its visitors during the gradual normalization period with its magnificent natural shapes, stream, waterfalls and ponds.

Çal Cave, located at an altitude of 1050 meters above sea level and dazzling with its natural beauties, was opened to visitors in 2003 by the Special Provincial Administration with a wooden walkway and lighting.

The cave, on which there is a historical castle and a stream flowing through it, is appreciated by the visitors.

Çal Cave, which is among the longest caves in the world, welcomes its visitors with its stream flowing through it. There is a 200-meter wooden walking path on the left arm and 150 meters on the right arm, which leaves 400 meters after the entrance of the "hidden paradise".

The depth of the water, which rises to 1,5 meters in rainy seasons, decreases to 25 centimeters in summer. Çal Cave, which attracts attention with its teahouse and local cuisine in its castle, experienced its calmest days during the coronavirus period.

During the gradual normalization period, the cave, which is preparing to become one of the favorite places of domestic and foreign tourists, opened its doors to its visitors within the scope of epidemic measures.
