The first electric model of Karsan, Jest Electric, which was launched in 2018 and brought to the road at the beginning of 2019, achieved a significant sales success in the European market within two years. According to the 2020 European Minibus and Bus Market Report published by Wim Chatrou – CME Solutions, Jest Electric surpassed its competitors in the electric minibus class between 3,5 and 6 tons and became the leader of the European market in 2020.
