BASE, which will be held for the fifth time this year, will graduate or will be graduated from painting, sculpture, photography, video, printing, graphic design, glass and ceramics, traditional Turkish arts and other related departments of Turkish universities between January 1, 2021 and December 31, 2021. and is open for postgraduate students to apply! Valuable names from the art world on the jury
BASE also has a polyphonic selector this year, which includes valuable names from the art world. Aslı Sümer, Burak Delier, Çağrı Saray, Defne Casaretto, Derya Yücel, Eda Kehale Argün, Gülçin Aksoy, Memed Erdener, Melek Gençer, Necla Rüzgar, Nermin Kura, Nilüfer Şaşmazer, Oğuz Erten, Orhan Cem Çetin, Sarp Evliyagil, Seçkin Pirim and Serhat Kiraz will evaluate the applications of 2021 graduates. Each year, the works of approximately 1500 young artist candidates are exhibited with the selection committee evaluation among nearly 120 applications.
BASE, whose first two editions were held in 2017 and 2018 at the Galata Greek School, the third edition in 2019 at Akaretler Row Houses, and last year at Tophane-i Amire, produced 4 new graduate artist candidates from all over Turkey in 425 years. brought it together with art lovers for the first time.
BASE will be at Tophane-i Amire this year between 29 September-3 October 2021.
