Two-way 200 meter rails were installed on the Akçaray line.

Akçaray tram line, which is implemented by Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality in order to provide comfortable and fast transportation for the citizens, is underway. On the one hand, tram lines are installed on the other hand in the works where infrastructure and superstructure works continue in many different regions. In the works where 25 meter rail can be installed bidirectionally on a daily basis, rail production of the reciprocal 200 meter line has been made so far.

PHASE PREPARATION FOR MANUFACTURING

The metropolitan municipality's Intercity Bus Terminal and Sekapark will provide the citizens with the service of tram lines, rail production operations are being carried out meticulously. First, 7 centimeter concrete is poured on the roads where the route is located. On the first concrete, an 28 centimeter reinforced concrete production with double row steel mesh is added.

TO PREVENT VIBRATION

On top of 35 centimeter concrete production, rail fittings of Akçaray are mounted. Rail connection elements; special vibrations and sound attenuators are used in order to ensure a comfortable journey as well as to protect the citizens living in the environment.

25 METERS PER DAY

In total, 46 thousand rail fasteners will be installed in order to reduce the error margin to zero, the finest detail is calculated. After installation, 15 centimeter concrete is poured between the rails so that the wheeled vehicles can be used. Finally, asphalt casting process is done. In the tram line installation where all these steps are made, the rail of the 25 meter line can be installed in both directions.

HANLI CONTINUES IN STREET
