KazanAdil Halis, one of the eyewitnesses, said, “After the tram started, the boy was stuck in the wagon. The boy's leg was broken. "People live here by chance," he said. Another eyewitness said, “The boy escaped while walking on the pavement with his father. While he was running, he fell under the tram. The tram did not stop, it dragged a little. They whistled. They stopped the tram. The ambulance came and took the child. Now they are looking for his leg," he said. After the allegations that little Ahmet's leg was severed, the police and firefighters conducted research at the scene. Tram trainman was taken to the police station to be questioned. Police launched an investigation into the accident.
