At the conference held at The Marmara Hotel in Taksim, high-level decision makers such as ministers, chairman of the board of directors and CEO from leading cities of the world participated in the board meeting of the association.
The conference, chaired by UITP President Sir Peter Hendy, who is also the Head of London Transportation Administration, was held in the center of "Planning, Design and Construction in Public Transport". Presentations made within the framework of main topics, techniques and design issues, and the legal and financing issues of public transportation systems were discussed at the conference.
Making a statement to the AA correspondent at the closing of the conference, İstanbul Transportation A.Ş.
