Bosphorus bridge planned to be built

The Bosphorus bridge planned to be built in Çanakkale: Governor Çınar: “It is a great need to build a bridge in Çanakkale. There is nothing to say about this ”“ You know, there is a slogan called 'I will not have it done'. At first everybody opposes, but then again everybody passes through it with great happiness ”
Çanakkale Governor Ahmet Çınar stated that it is a great need to build a Bosphorus bridge in the city and said, “You know, there is a slogan, 'I will not have it done'. “First everyone opposes, but then again everybody passes through it with great happiness”.
Çınar told reporters at Polisevi that the establishment of the Bosphorus bridge between Gallipoli and Lapseki districts was included for the first time in the 1/100000 scale zoning plan prepared for Çanakkale.
Especially during periods such as holidays, ferries who want to pass the strait of the long queues of car drivers indicating that the plane, this situation has led to the grievance of citizens, he said.
Emphasizing that this density should be reduced, Cinar said:
“It is a great need to build a bridge in Çanakkale. There is nothing to say to that. You know, there is a slogan called 'I will not have it done'. First everybody opposes, but then again everybody passes through it with great happiness. Now there is a situation like this; There are people who come from Istanbul or other places on the eve of the holidays, on the holidays, on the weekends. We see the state of traffic. Ship transportation is not enough for this job. There is great interest and concentration. People are suffering a lot. Recently, the queue had reached 18 kilometers. Of course, now everyone is waiting for something from the Governorship or the company that provides sea transportation in the Bosphorus, but it is not that easy to solve this. You cannot buy boats worth 20 million lira for only 50 days of use a year. We have neither the possibility nor such a power for this. So this bridge will solve many things. This is a good thing. Of course coordinates are things that can always change. In this sense, maybe some things have been completed, but work on the bridge continues. "
Drawing attention to the rapid increase in the population of Çanakkale, Çınar stated that unplanned structuring and similar problems can be eliminated with the projects prepared by professional teams, and that local governments should act together in this regard.
- Development discussions in Bozcaada
A journalist reminded Çınar that the district municipality will appeal to the ministry regarding the development plan for Bozcaada.
Stating that they will respect the objection of the municipality Cinar, said:
“A population of 2040 thousand is predicted for the region by 11. This is not a very large population. There is also a situation like this; An island can be very beautiful and calm, but if there are more people who want to live here and the island can handle it, others have the right to live there. The logic of "We are 2 thousand people here, we are very comfortable, no one should come" is not a correct logic. Therefore, this population has the right to live there, without exaggerating how much the island can handle by examining it from every aspect of sociology and social psychology. I do not say this in the sense that I support the plan, but everything must be in accordance with science, age and fairness. "
Çınar also touched on the hotel construction in Gökçeada, which was within the scope of the zoning plan and was previously decided to be demolished on the grounds that it was illegal.
Stating that after the construction owner started the work, the Municipal Council decided to comply with it and said, “Later, the court disrupts one side of this. The municipality then makes another decision. Here, because of the two sides not behaving carefully, but difficult or even impossible to compensate, work has been done for both sides to defend themselves ”.
Stating that the investor wanted to continue his work based on the decision of the council, Çınar said, “I'm sure the Municipal Council knew that this was not a very good decision when making this decision. "The situation is getting to such a point that this issue cannot be solved by laws and can be solved by social morality."
