Izmit Municipality is preparing to celebrate April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day with great enthusiasm this year, as every year. The celebration program prepared by the Directorate of Culture and Social Affairs will take place in Izmit Municipality Square on 21-22-23 April.
Within the scope of the activity programs prepared for children to enjoy the holiday to the fullest, workshops, theater plays, shows, concerts, competitions and much more will continue for 3 days. There will also be refreshments in the municipal square, which will be enlivened with children's voices.
A NATIONAL SOVEREIGNTY TOUR WILL BE TAKEN
National Sovereignty Tour will start from the Central Bank between 12.00-18.00; It will be completed at the Central Bank after Yeni Cuma, Eren Mosque, Doğu Kışla, Üçyol, Cumhuriyet Park and Acısu. Additionally, Izmit Municipality Children's Assembly will be held.
THE CORTEGE WILL TAKE PLACE
The grand April 23 cortege will start in front of the Central Bank at 14.00 on Tuesday. The cortege, which will take place with the participation of thousands of Izmit residents, will end in Izmit Municipality Square. All children and their families are invited to the events where Izmit Municipality will bring the holiday enthusiasm to the top.
