Sakarya is Entrusted to Little Mayor Ece

April 23 National Sovereignty Children's Day started with the handover ceremony held in Sakarya Metropolitan Municipality, as every year. President Yusuf Alemdar hosted a delegation of educators and students from the Provincial Directorate of National Education in his office this morning. Ece Atay, a 4th grade student studying at Mehmet Demir Primary School, sat in the chairmanship of the Metropolitan Municipality due to the holiday.

FIRST INSTRUCTION: “WE WILL CARRY YOU TO THE BEAUTIFUL TOMORROW”

President Ece picked up the corporate phone in his office to give his first instruction. In the phone call he made to the Parks and Gardens and Technical Affairs Department, his first instructions were to organize the agricultural workshop at Mehmet Demir Primary School, repair the playgrounds at the school and complete the construction of a park in Arabacıaalanı.

Ece Atay said, “It is a source of honor and pride for me to represent the generation that will raise Sakarya to the level of contemporary civilizations. We will carry our city to a beautiful future. "Happy holiday to all children," she said.

“THE BIGGEST INVESTMENT IS A PROPER EDUCATION”

Mayor Yusuf Alemdar, who handed over his duty with pleasure, said, “We have received the instructions of our President, our colleagues will carry them out quickly. Our guarantee for Sakarya is the hard-working and smart children of this city. They will be in the seats we sit in today, in the near future. "We believe that with the correct education they receive, they will always take our cultural heritage and success to the top," he said.

“THE LIGHT IN THEIR EYES AND THE SMILE ON THEIR FACES…”

Mayor Alemdar congratulated all children in Sakarya and said, “We are experiencing the joy and excitement of April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day in Sakarya once again. The light in their eyes, the smile on their faces and the love they feel for our red star flag are the greatest source of pride for us. We can be today's presidents and managers. However, the key to the future of this city is in their hands. "I congratulate the holiday of our children who will raise our city and Turkey to the level of contemporary civilizations, and I kiss each of them on their eyes," he said.

Mayor Alemdar presented gifts to primary school student Ece Atay, Mehmet Demir Primary School Principal Süfyan Bilgiç and their teachers, who took over the office on the occasion of the holiday, in memory of the day.
