Accommodation and Food Service Increased

TURKSTAT announced the Service Production Index data for February 2024.

Service production index increased by 13,8 percent annually

The service production index (2021=100) increased by 2024 percent in February 13,8 compared to the same month of the previous year. In the same month, transportation and storage services increased by 14,3 percent, accommodation and food services by 18,0 percent, information and communication services by 15,3 percent, real estate services by 15,8 percent, professional, scientific and technical services by 15,4 percent, administrative and support services increased by 7,5 percent.

The services production index increased by 2,7 percent on a monthly basis.

Accordingly, in February 2024, compared to the previous month, transportation and storage services increased by 3,3 percent, accommodation and food services increased by 3,0 percent, information and communication services increased by 4,6 percent, and real estate services increased by 7,2 percent. On a monthly basis, professional, scientific and technical services decreased by 0,1 percent, and administrative and support services decreased by 0,2 percent.
