Israeli historian and thinker Yuval Noah Harari stated that the policies carried out by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government in the context of Gaza and the tension with Iran left Israel facing a historical defeat and endangering the existence of the country.
Harari pointed out that the Netanyahu government is facing a historic defeat, which is the bitter fruit of the destructive policies it has pursued for many years, and emphasized that if the Tel Aviv administration prioritizes revenge over the country's interest, it will put both Israel and the entire region in great danger.
Harari stated that Israel should learn from its failures in Gaza and warned that the Netanyahu government should follow more appropriate policies against the Iranian threat and that its ambition for revenge could lead to a historical disaster.
