Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Sami Er as well as Yeşilyurt Mayor Prof. attended the examination program held in Malatya's Yeşilyurt District. Pointing out that there are 69 thousand eligible citizens in Malatya, Er said, “19 thousand of these beneficiaries are carried out by the General Directorate of Construction Affairs of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, and the construction of 50 thousand houses in the center is carried out by TOKİ. There are also residences built by creating a reserve area in the center. More careful work needs to be carried out, especially since there are registered buildings in settlements such as Yeşilyurt and Gündüzbey, which have an ancient history. Related to this, our contractor company officials and our university professors are working on this. We examined the projects to be done together. Conservation development plans will be made to protect registered buildings. Planning is being done without disturbing the historical texture, cultural and natural structure of these areas. We will rebuild it in accordance with the original within the framework of the plans to be made.
