As a result of the meeting between President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani, the "Framework Agreement on Cooperation in the Water Field Between the Governments of the Republic of Iraq and the Republic of Turkey" and the "Memorandum of Understanding on the Strategic Framework" were signed. Additionally, cooperation agreements were signed in 24 different fields.

Steps Towards the Future
It is stated that the agreements signed between the two countries are an important step towards strengthening regional cooperation and developing joint projects. It is anticipated that with the implementation of these agreements, relations between Turkey and Iraq will further develop and mutually beneficial cooperation will increase.
