Türkiye Became a Global Center in Health

Emphasizing that 2022 billion dollars were achieved in Turkey's health service exports in 1,9, the Ministry noted that by the end of 2023, the number of health tourists coming to Turkey increased to 1,4 million people and health service exports increased to 2,3 billion dollars.

In his post on his social media account, he emphasized his goal of becoming a global center by continuing his efforts to increase Turkey's share and added value in global health tourism.

“BRANDING IS SUPPORTED IN HEALTH TOURISM”

The Ministry of Commerce stated that it has developed activities to increase the added value of health tourism in the Turkish economy by making a difference in the global competitive environment in today's world, where health travel is rapidly becoming widespread, and that the sector's tourism sector will be held in Berlin and London in 2023 by supporting 12 trade and purchasing delegations organized by sector representatives. It was noted that national participation organizations were organized for two leading fairs.

The Ministry also stated that 6 HİSER Projects, in which sector representatives participated by organizing a national participation organization in the world's most important tourism fair, are within the scope of support. 7 brands are supported within the scope of Turquality and 7 brands are supported within the scope of the branding program. He noted that the support provided by the Ministry of Commerce to our companies operating in the health services export sector in 2023 increased by 281 percent to 733 million TL.
