Tourism Control Commission was established upon the instructions of Governor Tuncay Akkoyun, so that local and foreign tourists coming to Mardin, as well as guests visiting the city, can visit the city in a peaceful and safe manner.
The Audit Commission, consisting of the personnel of the Provincial Police Department, Provincial Directorate of Culture and Tourism, Provincial Directorate of Commerce, TURSAB, ŞURO, Provincial Directorate of Agriculture and Forestry, Tax Office Directorate and Artuklu Municipality, is located on 1st Street; Relevant institutions, especially travel agencies, cafes, restaurants, hotels, patisseries and souvenirs, carried out inspections in businesses operating in tourism areas within the framework of their legislation.
It was stated that inspections will be carried out regularly in 10 districts.
