TEKNO-SEL competition, organized in cooperation with Selçuklu Municipality and Selçuklu District Directorate of National Education, is starting. TEKNO-SEL, which aims to take one step closer to Turkey's technological independence goals in the Turkish Century and to train the engineers and technology leaders of the future, will be held at the Selçuklu Congress Center between 16-18 April. 96 consultants will also take part in the organization where 775 students from 394 schools will compete with 195 robots.
Within the framework of the competitions, stands will be set up to promote the activities of Selçuklu Development and Technology Academy, T3 Foundation Konya Branch, universities, schools affiliated to the Ministry of National Education, and institutions and organizations operating in the field of technology. During the event, special events for children will be organized at some stands. Children will enjoy meeting technology with fun experiments, workshops that improve their manual skills and various games. Interactive interviews will also be held at the event with experts in the field of technology. Industry experts will share technology trends, career opportunities and inspiring success stories with students.

Stating that they are always on their side and supporter of young people to train them in the field of science and technology, Selçuklu Mayor Ahmet Pekyaşmacı said, “As Selçuklu Municipality, we will organize the TEKNO-SEL robot and technology competition together with our Selçuklu District Directorate of National Education in order to contribute to our scientifically minded young people and ensure their discovery. We are organizing. With the competition, our young scientist candidates will have the chance to show their skills with the technological designs they create and will raise the bar even further. We believe that our competition will raise awareness in the field of science and technology in Konya and contribute to our goal of a strong Türkiye.” said.
