In response to the question about what issues will be discussed during his visit to Baghdad, President Erdoğan pointed out that the Iraqi side attaches great importance to this visit and said:
“With this visit, we will put our relations as Türkiye and Iraq on a different basis. One of the most important agenda items of our visit is the water issue. They had some requests from us regarding water, and we are working on these issues. We will try to resolve this issue with them. They already want us to solve this issue. We will take our steps in this direction. There are also issues of natural gas and oil flow to Turkey, and we will endeavor to address them as well. After our visit to Baghdad, we can visit Erbil on our return and meet with the officials there. “Our friends continue to work on this issue.”
