Kayseri Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Dr. Memduh Büyükkılıç left his seat to 23th grade student Azra Günal on the occasion of April 8 National Sovereignty and Children's Day. Child mayor Günal gave instructions for the children and said, "I would like to thank our Metropolitan Mayor, Mr. Memduh Büyükkılıç, who won the hearts of the people with his modesty and hard work, the hearts of young people and us children with his communication language, for all his services."
Welcoming the children in his office, Mayor Büyükkılıç asked the child president Azra Günal, who sat in her seat, if she had any instructions.

Celebrating April 23 Children's Day, Atatürk's gift to all the children of the world, Günal continued his words as follows:

Günal stated that the Mayor's office is an important position and that its basis is service, and said, "As a municipality, it is our priority to support children in areas where they can have fun and develop themselves in this period, in safety." We plan cultural and physical activities in sports fields, courses, parks, libraries. We will carry out the investment project accordingly. We know that the future of a city should be built on youth and children. We will achieve our goals in this direction. Institutions providing education and training are an important part of these. That's why we will provide all the support we can to our schools," he said.

Emphasizing that President Büyükkılıç has a place in the hearts of children and young people, child president Günal gave the following instructions for the school he attends and the children:
“I would like to thank our Metropolitan Mayor Memduh Büyükkılıç, who won the hearts of the people with his modesty and hard work, the youth and us children with his communication language, for all the services he has provided in the past, and I wish him continued success in the new period. I would like to state that the support to my esteemed president, who does not spare his efforts in supporting educational institutions in Kayseri, continues, that the school where I study is a small village school, and give instructions to eliminate the deficiencies related to my school. We would like to furnish the teachers' room where our valuable teachers, who have devoted their efforts to us, rest, to build a multi-purpose hall for at least 20 people in our school, and to ask our president for a tour. I would especially like a trip to the Çanakkale Martyrs' Cemetery, which every Turkish young person wants to visit and which I think is important in transferring our national and spiritual values from generation to generation, with the participation of our school's teachers and students. Responding to the Çanakkale Trip instruction of child president Azra Günal, Mayor Büyükkılıç said that he gave his instructions to the relevant units to fulfill the requirements.

A little student named Cihangir Schools 2nd Grade Student Serenay Erdoğdu, who later took the presidential chair, said that she wanted parks and libraries for children and thanked Mayor Büyükkılıç for the Book Fair and Festivals.
Congratulating the students on April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day, President Büyükkılıç expressed his gratitude to the students and said, “You will give the instruction and what is necessary will be done. Büyükkılıç stated that Kayseri Children's Book Fair and Festival is a special gift for the little ones, and that the Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Nation Garden event area was filled with children.
