April 23 Message from President Yalçın

President Yalçın published a message on the occasion of April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day; “The date of April 23, 1920 is an important day when the foundations of the Republic of Turkey, on which we live freely today, were laid and national sovereignty was declared. It is also the most special holiday gifted to children. As a nation, we must teach our children the important turning points of our history and enable them to act as a whole, like the spirit of the national struggle, in the face of every difficulty. Thanks to them, we look to the future of our country with hope. On this occasion, I congratulate both the 104th anniversary of the establishment of the Turkish Grand National Assembly and the April 23 National Sovereignty and Children's Day of all our children. There is no greater happiness in life than a child's smile, and no place larger than his heart. “I kiss all of them on their hearts and eyes.” He included his statements.
