With the coordination of AFAD and Eskişehir Governorship, TEI provided financial and in-kind aids in order to eliminate the conditions that adversely affected life after the earthquakes in Kahramanmaraş on February 6, 2023 and to meet the urgent needs of the victims.
With the contribution of TEI employees, 7 trucks and 1 truck consisting of generator, blanket, lamp, stove, heater, hygiene material, basic food, water and clothing gathered at the Eskişehir Campus of the company and determined as urgent needs, were sent to the earthquake zone via Eskişehir Governorship and AFAD channel. reached.
Taking action after receiving the news of the earthquake, TEI also directed the search and rescue team, consisting of trained and technically equipped volunteers to support the search and rescue activities, to the rescue activities in the earthquake area in coordination with AFAD. The TEI Search and Rescue Team, which started its work without wasting time, continues to work to save the citizens from the rubble, while continuing to work in coordination with AFAD to meet the needs of the citizens in the region.
