Konya Metropolitan Municipality provided internet service by installing satellites in order to provide internet access in the region, since base stations could not serve after the earthquake. Search and rescue teams from various provinces, especially the Konya Fire Department in the region, benefited from this service and ensured their communication.

DIGITAL RADIO COMMUNICATION SYSTEM

The Digital Radio Communication System was put into use in the earthquake zone to ensure the communication of Konya Metropolitan Municipality, KOSKİ General Directorate and district municipalities, which served in the field during the days when the communication systems were out of order due to the destruction in Hatay.

SOLAR MOBILE CHARGING STATION

In case of power cuts, the Solar Mobile Charging Station, which was developed for charging the mobile phone in order to meet the emergency communication needs, and which does not need any source thanks to the batteries charged with solar energy, played an important role in the earthquake zone. The device, which was produced by Konya Metropolitan Municipality for mobile phone charging, also provided energy to the machine of a citizen who needed an air machine.

DOMESTIC AND NATIONAL KOSKICBS

All the infrastructure data of Hatay province were integrated into the KOSKİ Geographical Information System (KOSKICBS), Turkey's first domestic and national geographic information system, used by the Konya Metropolitan Municipality KOSKİ General Directorate. In this way, the destroyed infrastructure and superstructures of the city can be monitored digitally and it has become possible to intervene and repair faster.

The Field Tracking Platform, which was put into service in order to instantly monitor the works such as snow shoveling, asphalting, road construction on the map, also provided the opportunity to monitor the conditions such as ground, traffic and snowfall on the roads on the earthquake zone route.

With the system that allows the works carried out by the municipal units to be followed via computers or mobile devices, all requests regarding the earthquake zone from the first moment of the earthquake were recorded from a single point with job tracking systems.
