The Gendarmerie General Command reported that a total of 34 sorties were made to the earthquake area with 1596 helicopters and a large number of aid materials and search and rescue teams were dispatched, with 798 hours of flight.
The statement from the Gendarmerie General Command is as follows:
“To date, a total of 34 sorties have been made and 1596 hours have been flown with our 798 helicopters in the earthquake zone. A total of 570 tons of materials, including search and rescue, life, energy and health, were transported. 936 rescue personnel were delivered to their posts. 816 of our rescued citizens were evacuated. Turkey All Together.”
A total of 3️⃣4️⃣1️⃣5️⃣ sorties have been made and 9️⃣6️⃣7️⃣ hours have been flown in the earthquake zone with our 9⃣8⃣ helicopters so far.
A total of 5️⃣7️⃣0️⃣ tons of materials were transported, including search and rescue, life, energy and health.
