The "COSCO KHI 335", a new generation high-performance ultra-large container ship built by China, set off on a test cruise from Nantong city, Jiangsu province. With a length of 399,99 meters, a width of 61,3 meters and a mold depth of 33,2 meters, the ship has a load capacity of 228 thousand tons and can carry 24 thousand 188 standard containers.

The ship's deck area is larger than three standard football fields. Combining the latest technological achievements and artificial intelligence technologies, the ship has technical advantages such as being safe, energy saving, environmentally friendly and having high-level artificial intelligence. Not only did it reach the international advanced level with its comprehensive performance, the intellectual property rights of the ship also belong entirely to China. The COSCO KHI 335 represents a new generation of high-performance ultra-large container ship developed and designed entirely by Chinese institutions.
